Ashley Nogueira
Ashley is the founder and "Head Elf" behind Summer Santa. As a single mother who once relied on community support, she noticed a gap: while help is abundant during the holidays, many families struggle just as much during the summer.
In 2025, she partnered with the Community Support Centre of Essex County to launch Summer Santa, providing essential items to families accessing the local food bank. In its very first year, the program supported 40 families!
Now aiming to help over 100 families this year, Ashley's ultimate vision is to expand Summer Santa across Canada, ensuring no family feels forgotten when the holiday season ends.

Who can apply to receive items?
There is no application process all donations are provided to Families throughout Windsor Essex County who currently access support from the Community Support Centre
Can I donate used items?
We only accept NEW, unopened items in original packaging to ensure quality and safety for all families. Gently used items can be donated to local thrift stores!
How do I volunteer?
Join our Facebook group and watch for volunteer callouts! We need help with sorting donations, distribution day, and fundraising events. Contact us at summersanta2025@gmail.com or on Facebook
Are monetary donations accepted?
Yes! E-transfer to summersanta2025@gmail.com or donate directly through the Community Support Centre website. We use cash donations to purchase items families request that we don't have in stock. Tax receipts available for donations $20+.
What sizes of clothing are needed?
All sizes from toddler to teen! We serve families with children ages 0-18 and their parents, so any size is greatly appreciated. Please ensure items are new with tags attached.
How can businesses get involved?
We love corporate sponsorships! Host a donation drive, sponsor a family, or make a bulk donation. Contact summersanta2025@gmail.com for sponsorship packages.
